In my department this year, we also have a student teacher and a first-year teacher, and it's so nice to see their excitement and enthusiasm. I am going through the teaching credential for Single Subject Social Studies myself, and am in the final weeks of my student teaching portion. I often wonder why I am so excited to go to work every day, but then I realize that it is because I am exicted about the work that I am doing! Every day I leave Student Teaching appreciative of the profession that I have chosen. Although it is definitely not the highest paid job, it is definitely the most rewarding. I can't think of a better profession to go into, because every day you have the opportunity to make history. I only hope that the passion that I have for teaching will only become stronger as the years go by. Thank you once again for your words of inspiration!</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/19293986/116260367796113711/comments/default/6719244237731999619'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/19293986/116260367796113711/comments/default/6719244237731999619'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://calteacherblog.blogspot.com/2006/11/future-of-teaching-is-bright.html?showComment=1167796860000#c6719244237731999619' title=''/><author><name>Anonymous</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://calteacherblog.blogspot.com/2006/11/future-of-teaching-is-bright.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19293986.post-116260367796113711' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/19293986/posts/default/116260367796113711' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
